A report from the MGK exhibition in Harajuku, featuring four upcoming indie Japanese fashion brands.

The second MGK fashion exhibition was held in Harajuku in late summer 2013. The exhibition featured four independent Japanese fashion brands, each created by a young designer attending Tokyo’s Bunka Fashion College. The four brands at the exhibition were:

  1. On any given Sunday, Harajuku is where the action for shopping:Mainly younger generations. I shopped in Harajuku when I was living in Tokyo in 1987. In fact, I kept my trench coat  I bought in Harajuku. I've never seen such  fashion design like HEI-HEI before. I remember wearing Kansai Yamamoto back then. I would like to see HEI-HEI fashion be introduce to America. My daughter would love to wear them.
